Impactor VS Mirage was the fan vote 2018 winner, beating out Needlenose VS Tracks and Spinister VS Wheeljack to be released in 2019 as a part of the Generations: Siege line. Impactor was intended to be represented as a Decepticon in the line, with part of the story explaining how he was brought into the fold as an Autobot. However when official renders were released in February 2019 they showed an Autobot emblem on Impactor, confirming that along with Impactor no longer being a two pack release but a single release he was now being released as an Autobot. Impactor's design appears to take some cues from his Marvel UK look, rather than his more recent reimagination in IDW's Transformers comics.
